SO WHAT’S A “GICLEE”? The word Giclee (pronounced gee-clay) is a French term meaning "to spray". Unlike traditional offset printing, the press does NOT use "dots" to form the image. Rather, it produces an image that is continuous in tone, and uses 6 rather than the typical 4-color process. Your print has archival qualities vastly superior to offset prints and is the closest you can come to the quality, color, and texture of an original painting. This is the highest quality reproduction that one can make.
